Wide Applications of Grounding Copper Braided Tape

Copper braided tape is primarily used as a power supply component in non-horizontal energized moving parts and in medium and low voltage circuit breakers. It uses copper braided tape as the conductor, with copper tubing at both ends. The copper tubing is silver-plated. The joint size is customized according to customer requirements. After special treatment, it is made into a flexible connection, providing flexible grounding with high conductivity and strong fatigue resistance. It can be completely customized to customer needs. Copper wire flexible connections are used in high and low voltage electrical appliances, vacuum electrical appliances, mining explosion-proof switches, and in automobiles, locomotives, and related products as flexible connections.

Grounding Copper Braided Tape

Copper braided tape is widely used in power transmission and distribution lines, and is ubiquitous in this circuit equipment and non-linear connections: A line that transmits power from a step-down substation to a distribution transformer or vice versa is called a distribution line. Commonly used distribution line voltages in China are 0.4kV, 6kV, and 10kV. 6kV and 10kV are called high-voltage distribution lines; 0.4kV is called a low-voltage distribution line. The construction of distribution lines needs to be safe and reliable, maintain a continuous power supply, reduce line losses, improve transmission efficiency, and ensure good power quality.

(1) Conductors are the primary component of a power line, and their main function is to transmit current and carry electrical power.

(2) Conductor classification: aluminium conductors, copper conductors, steel-cored aluminium wire, heat-resistant conductors, insulated conductors, carbon fibre conductors, and indium-clad steel conductors.
